Named after the man Rudi Putra, who has vowed to protect the last remaining rhino for the rest of his life and who's name should be kknown by the world because of his efforts.
The Sumatran Rhino's numbers are threatened due to habitat loss and fragmentation. The remaining animals survive in small, fragmented non-viable populations, and with limited possibilities to find each other to breed. They are soon to be exstinct.
