A life saved through art as activism
After Charcol
We are After Charcol — a creative partnership between sculptress Casey Nadine Banwell and mould maker Emma Pritty — using our talents to craft limited edition sculptural works. 15% of profit supports our animal friends.
Every piece we create helps protect endangered species by raising funds to conserve their natural habitats. So far, proceeds from our work have enabled the purchase of 46 acres of rainforest in the Leuser region of Sumatra — reconnecting fragmented wild spaces and allowing animals to roam freely.
You can view the protected land on the map at the bottom of this page — land now returned to Mother Nature.
We are proud partners of Saving Nature, and look forward to growing this mission together.

Why ‘After Charcol’?
The name is deeply personal. It honours my sister Charlie, who passed away 15 years ago, and my beloved dog Colin T, whose loss brought me back to sculpture.
Charcol is a blend of their names. Their absence left a hollow I now fill with purpose.
Sculpture became my therapy — and ultimately, my calling.
Every creation is a march forward.
The name also symbolises the devastation of deforestation but we believe in regeneration. .

Our Vision
We dream of a world where humans live with nature, not against it.
A world where wildlife has the right to simply exist, free and unthreatened.
At After Charcol, we take action through sculpture as activism — raising awareness, provoking dialogue, and inspiring change.
Please stand with us. Support our work and share our message.
