AFTER CHARCOL WELCOMES YOU

Planet B4 Profit

At After Charcol, we have been using our talents, to create limited edition sculptural pieces to sell, not for profit.
I’m Casey Nadine Banwell, the sculptress and Emma Pritty is the mould maker and together we make up

After Charcol

All proceeds have gone to saving animals in their natural habitat and so far, we have helped raise enough money to buy 46 acres of rainforest in the Leuser region of Sumatra. Creating corridors between fragmented areas of rainforest, so that animals can move freely without being killed as trespassers in their own back yard.
The map at the bottom of this web page, shows the areas purchased and given back to mother nature.
So proud to be a part of Saving Natures mission and can’t wait for future collaborations.

My best work has been produced during heart ache.
My sisters death 15 years ago, caused me to turn to clay.
The loss of my dog, Colin T, caused me to crack open a bag of clay once more.
Sculpture is my therapy and in that sense, I am lucky to have it. Which is why, I wouldn't change it for the world.

This is the inspiration for the name of our charity, After Charcol.
In memory of my sister, Charlie and my dog Colin T.
Whose absence has left me with a huge hole in my heart to fill.
So this is how I fill it.
With every upset, I march forward with positivity.
What doesn't kill me, makes me stronger.
I am a soldier.
Life’s warrior.

It also refers to the devastation caused by deforestation, as they burn the rainforest to pave way for Palm.

We at After Chatcol, dream of a world beyond devastation.
A world where we work with nature, not against it.
We believe in taking action with urgency, to raise public awareness for animal rights worldwide and to protect their habitat.
Fighting for their right to just be, existing in nature as mother nature intended.
All through the creation of sculpture.

Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference.
We need to stop and think before it's too late.
